Responsible for materials sourcing work from sample development, vendor recommendations and selection; works closely with vendors during production process to resolve issues; negotiates with vendors on pricing to satisfy customer/corporate margin expectations; drives raw material/ trim development process in accordance with timelines for product development; coordinates amongst QA/QC,

technical service and compliance to ensure timeline is met; proposes cost-effective ways for material sourcing based on the latest technologies and trends; supports in research & development of new materials.

Responsibilities typical include: Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision.. Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals..
