Overview In this role you lead the property's group sales efforts for high-volume events, guiding both reactive and proactive sales to hit revenue and satisfaction goals. You provide day-to-day leadership to the on-property group sales team and forecast revenues while ensuring seamless turnover from sales to operations. You implement group sales plans and brand initiatives, focusing on upsell opportunities and long-term client relationships that support the property’s sales objectives. Responsabilità
- Lead the property's group sales for high-volume events
- Solicit, book and develop local group business
- Set booking goals for sales team
- Develop and manage group revenue and operating budgets; provide forecasts
- Create and implement group sales/marketing plans
- Advance group sales promotions; ensure brand and service standards
- Oversee contract generation,
proposals and client communications
- Coordinate sales resources on-property to execute strategies
- Ensure seamless turnover from sales to operations; resolve guest issues related to sales
- Monitor revenues, control costs, and deliver ROI for owner and Marriott
- Meet business needs with other duties as assigned
Requisiti fondamentali
- 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 4 years sales/marketing experience; OR 4-year degree in same majors; 2 years sales/marketing experience
- Demonstrated supervisory experience; group sales experience preferred
