OverviewIn this role you lead mechanical design delivery for data centre projects, coordinating with the electrical counterpart and guiding engineers while maintaining high client service.
You develop resilient cooling, ventilation, automation, and support systems for critical data centre operations.
You will deepen understanding of building physics, CFD, and sustainable design to inform engineering principles.
You join the Data Centre Facilities team within the Buildings department to collaborate across disciplines and drive technical delivery that supports sustainable change.

ResponsabilitàRepresent Ramboll on Datacentre projects as the mechanical lead, coordinating with allied disciplines
Drive project delivery using initiative with minimal supervision across technical aspects
Use design production tools (CAD, Bluebeam, calculations) and coordinate with BIM technicians

Complete detailed designs and supervise others in this function
Inspire confidence internally and externally to strengthen client relationships
Manage and commit to project delivery timelines
Coordinate tasks as project Mechanical lead to meet deadlines and allocate resources
Requisiti fondamentaliQualified engineer with proven track record in their discipline
Experience with mission critical systems in data centre or similar industries
CIBSE / IET / IMechE accredited honours degree, or HNC in applicable discipline
Achieved or working towards IEng or CEng status
Excellent communicator capable of simplifying complex concepts
Interest in or experience with digital and parametric design tools
