We are seeking an experienced and organised Assistant Villa Manager to join our team at Constance Belle Mare Plage, a prestigious luxury resort destination in Mauritius. In this pivotal role, you will provide essential support to the Head of Service and departmental leadership, ensuring the seamless operation of our villa accommodations and delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day villa management operations, coordinating with various departments, and maintaining the highest standards of service excellence that our guests expect. Villa Operations - Assist the Villa Manager in the efficient day-to-day operation of all assigned villas. - Ensure that villas are prepared and maintained to the required luxury standards prior to guest arrival and throughout the stay. - Monitor the cleanliness, presentation, amenities, equipment and overall condition of villas. - Conduct regular villa inspections and follow up on any deficiencies. - Ensure all operational procedures, standards and checklists are consistently followed. - Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely resolution of maintenance, housekeeping and service-related issues. - Assist in monitoring villa readiness, arrivals, departures, special occasions and VIP requirements. - Ensure all guest preferences and requirements are properly communicated and followed through. Guest Experience - Deliver highly personalised and discreet service to villa guests.
- Build strong relationships with guests and anticipate their needs throughout their stay. - Personally welcome and interact with guests when required. - Assist with villa arrivals and departures and ensure a smooth and memorable experience. - Coordinate personalised amenities, celebrations, dining arrangements, activities, excursions and other guest requests. - Handle guest concerns, complaints and special requests professionally and promptly. - Follow up on guest feedback and ensure appropriate corrective action is taken. - Maintain a strong knowledge of the resort's facilities, services, activities, restaurants and surrounding attractions to provide informed recommendations. Team Leadership &, Supervision - Assist the Villa Manager in leading, motivating and developing the Villa team. - Supervise the team during daily operations and ensure adequate coverage according to business levels. - Conduct daily briefings and communicate operational priorities, guest preferences and important information. - Monitor attendance, grooming, punctuality and adherence to service standards. - Coach team members on service delivery, guest interaction and operational procedures. - Provide regular feedback and identify training and development needs. - Assist with performance management and disciplinary matters in accordance with company procedures. - Promote teamwork, professionalism and a positive working environment. Communication &, Coordination - Maintain close communication with Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Relations,
Butler/Villa Services, Food &, Beverage, Engineering and other relevant departments. - Ensure all relevant guest information and preferences are accurately communicated. - Participate in daily operational meetings and briefings as required. - Ensure effective handover between shifts and maintain accurate operational records. - Escalate operational or guest-related issues to the Villa Manager in a timely manner. Quality &, Standards - Ensure compliance with the resort's standards, SOPs and brand/service requirements. - Conduct regular quality checks of villas and associated service areas. - Monitor service delivery and identify opportunities for improvement. - Support internal quality audits, mystery guest exercises and external assessments. - Ensure that guest feedback is analysed and translated into appropriate operational improvements. - Maintain a strong focus on luxury service, attention to detail and consistency. Administration &, Reporting - Assist with villa-related administrative duties and reporting. - Monitor the use and availability of villa amenities, guest supplies and operational equipment. - Ensure proper control and recording of villa inventory. - Report damages, losses, maintenance requirements and other irregularities. - Assist with controlling operational costs without compromising guest experience. - Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene and security requirements. Health, Safety &, Security - Ensure that all villa operations comply with the resort's health and safety standards. - Report hazards, incidents, accidents or security concerns immediately. - Ensure guest privacy and confidentiality are maintained at all times. - Follow all procedures relating to VIP guests, high-profile guests and sensitive guest information. - Ensure the team is familiar with emergency procedures and relevant safety protocols. vetrinabakeca
