Risk Management oversees risk management activities including risk identification and mitigation activities. In particular, the Portfolio Risk Management is responsible for carrying out feasibility studies on new mandates and/or portfolios, with the aim of identifying any limits that cannot be covered by the internal control system and also carrying out the parameterization of the limits within the monitoring systems and analyze violations of the same, providing an ad hoc report to managers, customers and senior management. Furthermore, the same structure is responsible for assessments and analyzes aimed at ensuring efficient management of portfolio risk, through the definition of methodologies and processes for analyzing and monitoring the main risk factors. The successful candidate will support the following activities: * Support the team in monitoring the compliance of portfolios with applicable regulatory, contractual and internal investment guidelines. * Contribute to daily investment limit controls for MMFs, AIFs, UCITS, insurance portfolios and third-party mandates. * Assist with the parametrization, testing and further development of the investment limit control application, including SimCorp Dimension Compliance Manager. * Support the preparation of analyses, reports and documentation for portfolio managers, clients, management bodies and internal or external auditors on investment limit control topics. * Contribute to materials and follow-up activities for Investment Committees and the Investment Risk Committee.
* Support the maintenance of the risk management framework, ensuring alignment with applicable regulations, company policies and internal procedures. * Contribute to the enhancement of processes, controls and governance arrangements related to the activities performed by the team. * Support process improvement, harmonisation initiatives and the documentation of operating procedures. * Participate in international projects and cross-functional initiatives involving investment compliance and risk management topics. * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering or a similar field, either completed or in progress. * Interest in risk management, investment compliance, asset management and financial markets. * Basic understanding of financial markets and instruments. * Interest in European asset management regulation, including UCITS, AIFMD and MMF frameworks. * Good analytical skills, attention to detail and willingness to work with data, controls and investment restriction monitoring activities. * Good command of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. * Fluent English; knowledge of Italian, French or German would be a plus. ### Preferred qualifications: * Academic exposure to risk management, compliance, limit monitoring,
asset management or project-related activities. * Knowledge of Limit monitoring or Risk Systems would be an advantage. * Knowledge of any programming language, such as SQL or Python, and familiarity with the use of AI tools would be an advantage.
