Role Description The Senior Operations Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Milan, with the flexibility to work from home part of the time. This role oversees daily logistics operations, including route planning, delivery performance, and capacity management to ensure timely two-hour window deliveries.

Manager will lead and mentor operations teams, implement process improvements, manage relationships with retail partners, and monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery rates and operational costs. The role is responsible for aligning operations with business strategy, coordinating with technology and customer service teams, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. This position will also contribute to scaling operations as the company grows across different markets.





Qualifications

- Operations management and logistics expertise, including experience with last-mile delivery or similar high-volume, time-sensitive environments.
- Strong leadership skills to manage and develop cross-functional teams, with proven ability to drive performance and accountability.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience working with operational KPIs, dashboards, and data-driven decision-making.
- Stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with retail partners and internal teams.
- Experience with process optimization and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is highly beneficial.
- Comfort with technology platforms used in logistics, such as routing software, order management systems, and CRM tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience in international or multi-market operations and fluency in English; Italian language skills are an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, demonstrating autonomy, adaptability, and strong organizational skills.
