As Director of Finance you will be the strategic financial partner for a renowned ultra-luxury property in Rome, guiding profitability and financial integrity. You’ll partner with ownership and the Executive Committee to translate data into actionable insights that shape the hotel’s financial future. A pivotal role, you will lead budgeting, forecasting, and ROI evaluations for capital projects while fostering a high-performing finance team. This opportunity combines luxury hospitality leadership with influence over strategic financial decisions.

Responsabilità
- Provide financial analysis, market data, and business intelligence to support operational and strategic decisions
- Lead annual operating budget, capital budgets, and rolling forecasts with GM and department heads
- Evaluate ROI of capital projects and post-completion outcomes




- Identify opportunities to maximize profitability, reduce costs, and enhance revenue performance
- Develop benchmarking techniques to improve financial and operational performance
- Represent finance in ownership meetings, business reviews, and Executive Committee discussions
- Maximize cash flow through disciplined controls on inventory, credit, disbursements, and deposits
- Oversee financial impact of operations on P&L; with the Executive Committee
- Ensure timely financial reporting and variance analysis (actual vs budget/forecast)
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset sub-ledgers
- Manage hotel contracts and financial arrangements
- Approve cash disbursements, rebates, and adjustments per policy
- Maintain records for internal and external audits
- Lead Purchasing team and align procurement with financial objectives
- Establish purchasing policies, thresholds, and inventory controls
