Manage material planning activities based on production requirements, customer demand, and MRP output

Analyze, schedule, and monitor material requirements to ensure the continuous supply of components and materials to production lines

Create, review, and release purchase orders and forecast schedules through SAP

Manage supplier order confirmations, delivery schedules, and follow-up activities to ensure on-time delivery performance

Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with Production Planning to balance material availability and stock optimization targets

Proactively identify potential supply shortages, delays, and bottlenecks, implementing corrective actions to minimize production risks

Act as the primary interface with suppliers for operational purchasing topics, expediting critical deliveries when necessary

Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Production, and Logistics teams to resolve material-related issues

Maintain procurement and planning master data accuracy within SAP

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing procurement efficiency, inventory management, and supply chain performance

Support tactical sourcing activities and supplier management initiatives under the guidance of strategic buyers

Ensure compliance with company procurement processes, policies, and quality standards.

Good understanding of material planning, procurement, and supply chain processes within a manufacturing environment.

Ability to interpret MRP data and production requirement

Experience &

Education Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or related disciplines

Good understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)

Professional working proficiency in English (minimum B2 level)

Knowledge of MRP concepts and inventory management principles, preferably SAP MM (Materials Management) is considered a strong advantage

Preferred Characteristics Willingness to learn and develop within Purchasing and Supply Chain functions

High level of accuracy and reliability

Ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders In line with our commitment to pay transparency, the expected salary range for this Apprentiship Position is €30,000–€32,000 gross annual salary. Actual compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.
