IT Functional Analyst – Finance, EMEA
Location: Milan Ovest — Hybrid, 3 days/week onsite Team: EMEA IT — Regional Applications (Finance) Reports to: EMEA IT Director Regional Applications C Delivery
Context
The Company operates in a complex, multi-country Finance landscape spanning more than 10 countries, with statutory, fiscal, and group reporting requirements that
demand a high level of functional discipline and audit-readiness. To support this footprint, the company is embarking on a multi-year ERP transformation journey toward Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance C Operations as the EMEA target platform, while continuing to operate and evolve the current heterogeneous ERP estate (including custom AS/400-based systems). Finance is the cornerstone of this transformation: the integrity of GL, sub-ledgers, intercompany, closing, and reporting processes underpin both day-to-day operations and the strategic harmonization roadmap.
Role Summary
The Senior IT Functional Analyst – Finance is the IT reference point for EMEA Finance processes.
The role owns functional analysis and process design across the full Finance value chain, translates business requirements into ERP solutions, and ensures operational continuity on legacy platforms while actively contributing to the design and rollout of
Microsoft Dynamics 365 FCO. The candidate acts as a trusted partner to Group and Country Finance leaders, internal developers, and external implementation partners, guaranteeing scalability, internal control compliance, and adoption across EMEA countries.
Key Responsibilities
• Finance Functional Analysis and Process Design Lead end-to-end functional analysis and process design across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, and Closing C Reporting; ensure design choices are scalable, usable, and compliant with internal control and statutory standards
• Requirements to ERP Solutions Translate Finance business requirements into ERP solutions on the
