We’re Hiring a Sales Manager – Logistics & Freight Forwarding
Are you an experienced sales professional looking to take the next step in your logistics and freight forwarding career? Atlantic Gate is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead business development efforts, strengthen customer relationships, and drive sustainable growth across the Italian market.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing international logistics organization and play a key role in expanding our market presence while contributing to our long-term commercial strategy.
What You’ll Do
Develop and execute the sales strategy in line with company objectives
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across sea, air, road, and multimodal freight services
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders
Lead customer meetings, presentations, negotiations, and contract discussions
Manage and grow an active sales pipeline while ensuring sales targets are achieved




Prepare and oversee freight quotations in collaboration with Operations and Procurement teams
Monitor market trends, customer requirements, competitive activities, and freight rate developments
Ensure accurate CRM reporting, forecasting, and sales activity tracking
Represent Atlantic Gate at industry events, trade fairs, and networking opportunities
Collaborate closely with Operations to ensure service excellence and customer satisfaction
What You Bring
5+ years of sales experience within logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain services
Strong knowledge of sea freight, air freight, road transport, and international trade
Proven track record of generating new business and achieving commercial targets
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills
Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking abilities
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and CRM systems
Fluency in Italian and English
