Role Description This full-time on-site role, based in Parma,

is for a Food Technologist and Chemical Engineer who will contribute to research and development activities within the food preserving sector. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and conducting laboratory experiments, performing chemical and microbiological analyses, and supporting sensory evaluation of food products to improve quality, safety, and shelf life. The role involves participating in R&D; projects, drafting technical reports, interpreting analytical data, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across SSICA’s specialized areas. The Food Technologist and Chemical Engineer will also support quality control procedures, contribute to process optimization, and assist in the transfer of technological results to industry partners, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
