Offer Description
The research activity will focus on the electronic structure and reactivity of open-shell catalytic systems, including single-atom catalysts, functional materials, and molecular transition-metal complexes. The aim is to clarify how oxidation state, coordination geometry, spin-density distribution, and redox transformations affect catalytic activity, selectivity, and stability. Characterisation will be carried out primarily by continuous-wave and pulsed EPR spectroscopy, combined with complementary techniques and electronic-structure calculations.
