Business Development Manager - Japan

Pyou Hong Kong, an international recruitment agency, is hiring on behalf of our client - a premium company specializing in decorative surfaces and interior architecture solutions for architects, designers and construction professionals. To develop new business and strengthen the brand's presence among leading architectural firms in the Japanese market, we are looking for a:

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing existing business activities while planning the commercial development of the assigned area
- Expanding commercial channels by building relationships with architects, contractors, and professionals in the design sector
- Creating and developing a network of prescribers and complementary partners able to generate added value for the brand
- Developing turnover in the assigned territory and continuously monitoring market trends
- Defining strategic actions to achieve commercial targets and market growth
- Preparing periodic reports on business development activities and market performance
- Working cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners

The ideal candidate

- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Architecture, or a related field




- 5–8 years of experience as Area Manager or Business Developer
- Familiarity with wood veneer, plastic laminate, board products, or wood fabrication processes
- Experience using Office programs and social media platforms
- Availability for frequent travel
- Strong result orientation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership mindset, proactive attitude, and strong team-working capabilities

Pay: €35,000.00 - €55,000.00 per year
