Hardware & FPGA Designer:
TXT e-Tech, part of the TXT Group, is looking for a Hardware & FPGA Designer to join our Aerospace & Defence development team. The selected candidate will be responsible for the design and development of electronic boards for data acquisition, simulation, and testing, managing the entire product lifecycle.
Main Responsibilities:
Hardware Design: Development of data acquisition and simulation boards for discrete, analog, serial signals, and communication buses;
Schematic Design: Creation of electrical schematics and PCB design;
FPGA Development: Design, implementation, and programming of programmable logic devices;
Testing & Test Benches: Design of electromechanical interfaces and setup of hardware/software testing systems.
Required Technical Skills:
FPGA Design & HDLs: Strong knowledge of FPGA architectures and proficiency in VHDL and/or Verilog;
PCB Design & CAD Tools: Experience with CAD and EDA tools (e.g., EasyEDA, Autodesk Fusion, or equivalent);
Signal Integrity & Interfaces: Solid understanding of discrete and analog signals, field buses, and serial communication protocols;
Laboratory Instrumentation: Hands-on experience with common test and measurement equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators, and logic analyzers;
English language proficiency: B2 level or higher.
Nice to Have:
Experience or knowledge in ASIC design and integration;
Knowledge of the C programming language for embedded environments;
Experience with rapid prototyping using Arduino platforms or similar microcontrollers.
Education: Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
Proactivity, results orientation, adaptability to new challenges and project environments, and the ability to collaborate effectively within structured and multidisciplinary teams complete the profile.

The contract offered for this position is a permanent one, and the salary range for this position is between EUR 28.000 € and EUR 32.000 € gross per year.
The grading/level will be defined during the selection process based on the candidate's profile and in accordance with the National Collective Labor Agreement (Metalworking Industry).
