Minerva is a fast-growing food supplement business operating across the UK, EU and international markets.
We are looking for an Operations Business Systems & Data Analyst to support and progressively take ownership of our business data and systems landscape, with SAP Business ByDesign (ByD) at the core, alongside warehouse/3PL systems, Amazon and supporting tools.
This is a junior role with a clear development path. You will start with master data and data quality, then grow into system improvements, automation and AI-enabled solutions that reduce manual work and errors.
You will report to the Head of Operations and work closely with Operations, Finance, QA, Regulatory Compliance, Customer Care and external partners.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Maintain accurate product, supplier and customer master data in SAP ByD.
- Monitor and improve data quality, including duplicates, missing fields and inconsistencies.
- Define and document data standards, ownership and system mappings.
- Maintain structured product, ingredient, batch, SDS/MSDS and packaging data used by QA and Regulatory Compliance.
- Monitor data flows between ByD, warehouse/3PL systems and marketplaces and investigate mismatches.
- Support ByD process improvements, including payment proposals and supplier invoice approval workflows.
- Coordinate small system and process-improvement projects across teams.
- Build or support simple AI and automation solutions using low-code tools, scripts or AI platforms.
- Produce regular data-quality and systems reporting.
What Success Looks Like
- Accurate and complete master data across active products, suppliers and customers.
- No new duplicate master-data records.
- Data and system issues resolved quickly, with root causes documented.
- ByD improvement projects delivered to agreed milestones.
- At least one useful automation or AI solution introduced each quarter.
- Clear monthly reporting on data quality, systems issues and progress.
About You
You should have:
- Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel/Google Sheets capability.
- A structured, detail-oriented approach with strong documentation skills.
- Basic project-management skills.
- Practical interest in AI, automation and improving business processes.
- Curiosity about ERP systems, supply chain and operational processes.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to question inefficient ways of working.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Management, Industrial or Computer Engineering, Economics, Information Systems or a related field.
- 0–2 years’ experience, including internships, in operations, supply chain, ERP, data analysis or business systems.
- SAP or other ERP experience is an advantage.
- Basic SQL, Python, low-code or automation experience is a plus.
- Experience in a regulated or quality-driven environment is useful but not required.

This is a hybrid role based in Milan, Italy, working with colleagues and partners across the UK, EU and international markets.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €25,000.00 - €35,000.00 per year
