h3Senior Fire and Life Safety Engineer (AE), Technical Operations – EMEA /h3 h3Role Summary /h3 pThe Senior Fire and Life Safety Engineer is the technical authority for Fire and Life Safety systems across STACK Infrastructure’s EMEA portfolio. Acting as the Authorising Engineer (AE) for STACK EMEA Fire and Life Safety Rules, you will provide governance, assurance and technical leadership across the full data centre lifecycle, from design and construction through commissioning, handover, operations and maintenance. /p pWorking closely with Operations, Engineering, HSE, Delivery, Commissioning and vendor partners, you will help ensure Fire and Life Safety systems are compliant, maintainable, resilient and operationally effective across a growing portfolio of mission-critical facilities. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liProvide technical leadership and expert guidance on Fire and Life Safety systems across the EMEA portfolio. /li liDevelop and maintain Fire and Life Safety standards, equipment specifications, design requirements and operational policies aligned to STACK objectives and applicable local codes. /li liServe as the Authorising Engineer (AE) for STACK EMEA Fire and Life Safety Rules, providing governance and assurance for safe and consistent operational practices. /li liReview designs, technical submissions and commissioning documentation, supporting construction QA, site snagging, operational acceptance and handover across new facilities, expansions and major upgrades. /li liConduct technical assurance reviews, site audits and assessments of Fire and Life Safety systems and maintenance practices, working with consultants, insurers and service providers to identify and drive risks through to closure. /li liDevelop and continuously improve maintenance requirements and operational procedures, including ESoS maintenance plans and MOP, SOP and EOP documentation. /li liProvide technical support during incidents,



HSE events and near misses, supporting root cause analysis, corrective actions and ensuring lessons learned inform future standards and designs. /li liWork across electrical, mechanical, controls, BMS/SCADA, security and HSE interfaces to integrate Fire and Life Safety requirements and improve safety, reliability and resilience. /li liCoach and mentor engineers and operational teams, helping build Fire and Life Safety capability across STACK EMEA. /li /ul h3What You’ll Bring /h3 ul liExtensive experience in Fire and Life Safety engineering within mission-critical environments, ideally data centres, spanning design, construction, commissioning, operations or technical assurance. /li liAdvanced knowledge of Fire and Life Safety design and implementation, including fire detection and water- and gas-based suppression systems. /li liStrong understanding of mission-critical operations and how Fire and Life Safety systems interface with electrical, mechanical, controls and building systems. /li liExperience across design review, commissioning, operational acceptance and technical assurance, including site audits and risk assessment within critical environments. /li liStrong working knowledge of relevant European Fire and Life Safety codes and standards, including NFPA 72, EN 13501, EN 50600 and applicable national regulations. /li liExperience developing engineering standards, maintenance requirements and operational procedures,



with strong technical judgement and a structured approach to incident investigation and root cause analysis. /li liAbility to influence, coach and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams, external partners and stakeholders. /li liDegree, HND/HNC or equivalent in Fire and Life Safety Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrable experience; professional accreditation or chartership is desirable. /li liStrong written and verbal English language skills, with experience across multiple European markets advantageous and ability to travel across the EMEA portfolio as required. /li /ul h3What We Offer /h3 ul liSalary Range (Gross Annual Salary - RAL): €56.000 - €71.000 + performance premio /li liContract type: Italian CCNL Commerce (Commercio - Terziario, Distribuzione e Servizi) /li liMeal vouchers and corporate welfare program /li liHealth insurance and access to the complementary pension fund, in accordance with the collective agreement /li liWork on critical digital infrastructure, supporting the development and operation of some of Europe's most advanced data centre environments /li liBuild your future with STACK, gaining exposure to large-scale projects and clear opportunities for professional growth across a fast-growing European platform /li /ul pThe compensation range shown reflects the expected salary range for this position.
