h3Salary Range /h3pSalary Range: €39,100.00 - €72,500.00. /ph3Job Description Summary /h3pThe Process Support Unit Lead oversees manufacturing support operations to ensure the compliant, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of high-quality products. The role leads cross-functional activities across production support, operational excellence, resource and capacity planning, project execution, and business continuity, while ensuring adherence to GMP, HSE, regulatory, and company requirements. As a key partner to Manufacturing leadership, the incumbent drives continuous improvement initiatives, supports product launches and strategic projects, provides operational guidance and problem resolution, and develops the capabilities of the support team through effective leadership, coaching, and resource management. /ph3Job Description Major Accountabilities /h3ulliTranslate strategic goals into actionable plans, priorities, and measurable outcomes while developing team capabilities and performance. /liliProvide line leadership to the support team, conducting daily shop floor walkthroughs and ensuring effective coaching, resource allocation, task prioritization, and execution of team objectives. /liliOversee production support activities to ensure on‑time execution of manufacturing operations in compliance with GMP, SSE, 6S, and applicable documentation requirements. /liliReview production schedules, evaluate capacity and resource requirements, and ensure shop floor staffing and support resources align with operational demand and business priorities. /liliPlan and drive Operational Excellence initiatives to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and business performance. /liliSupport and oversee product launch activities, CapEx projects and other strategic initiatives to ensure successful implementation and sustainable results. /liliAct as the Subject Matter Expert (SME)
for products and manufacturing processes, providing guidance and resolution for operational challenges. /liliSupport the SOP process by providing operational data and insights while collaborating closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain and other cross‑functional stakeholders to align priorities and drive performance. /li /ulh3Essential requirements /h3ulliScientific, Engineering, or related degree. /liliSolid experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, production support, engineering, or quality environments. /liliProven leadership and people management experience. /liliStrong knowledge of GMP, HSE, quality systems, and pharmaceutical manufacturing operations, with a track record of ensuring compliance and operational excellence. /liliDemonstrated ability to manage cross‑functional stakeholders, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and lead operational or strategic projects in a complex manufacturing environment. /liliFluent in Italian and English. /li /ulh3Benefits Rewards /h3pAt Novartis, we’re committed to reimagining medicine together - and rewarding the people who make it happen.
