Every day the industry and deugro face the challenges of thelogistics industry and our employees use their expertise to ensure large cargois transported safely, effectively, and efficiently, through innovative andcreative logistical solutions.br/Become a part of our talented deugro team, as we look for a Tender Specialist inSegrate (Milan), Italy.br/ /p h3Key Responsibilities: /h3 ul liPreparation of competitive and high-quality project solutions proposals in response to RFQs/RFIs/RFPs received from clients within the region including: /li /ul ol liSourcing and cost analysis /li liPreparation of high-quality bid documentation /li liSupporting contract implementation and client onboarding /li liMaintaining up-to-date records, rate database and CRM /li /ol ul liPreparation of quotations to clients and overseas offices for air, ocean or road according to the cargo requirements for both import, export and x-trade /li liSourcing rates from subcontractors, overseas offices, support functions and analyze inputs into comprehensive, competitive offers /li liUnderstanding customers scope of work and requirements, identifying risks related on these and mitigating the risks by agreeing on terms and conditions /li liReporting and analyzing business results and targets/KPI’s within scope /li liAny mutually agreed sales, operations and/or business development activities to achieve growth and profitability /li /ul h3Skills, knowledge, and expertise: /h3 ul liCommercial and operational experience in General Cargo, Break Bulk, Oversized and Heavy Lift shipments (multi-modal) /li liIdeally,
experience in pricing and tender management /li liCapability to understand large concepts yet have attention to detail /li liInterest in global logistics landscape and market developments /li liDesire to continuous learning from clients, peers, network to enable both personal and business growth on a long-term /li liMotivation to work in an internationally operating company and already have experience in working with other countries and cultures /li liAbility to prioritize, plan and control/monitor given tasks on a daily basis with a medium-term focus /li liEnthusiasm to work in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environment, while remaining focused under pressure /li liYou are a team player and have a strong hands-on mentality /li liYour very good command of English, enabling you to quickly find your way around the international arena /li liGood IT skills, to be able to fully utilize CRM, MS Office and other IT-tools ensuring high data quality and integrity /li /ul h3What makes us the ideal choice? /h3 pA family-owned company established in 1924, has evolved into a leading globalspecialist in project freight forwarding.
