to carry out a scientific activity with a shared research goal. The _Brain Development and Disease_ Research Unit is coordinated by Dr Laura Cancedda. The research focuses _on _investigating the role of Negr1 in brain disorders. This includes_ _models of autism spectrum disorders. Within the research team, your main responsibilities will be: - Perform behavioral experiments (in models of brain disorders)
- Perform cell biology experiments ex-vivo (in models of brain disorders) **ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**
- A PhD in_ _Neuroscience, including neurodevelopment, and similar disciplines
- Documented experience in behavioral and cell biology activities
- Strong publication record
- Good command of spoken and written English **ADDITIONAL SKILLS**
- Experience in molecular biology
- Knowledge of the biology of Negr1
- Ability to work in a challenging and international environment
- Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively in a highly interdisciplinary environment
- Possess Analytical Reasoning skills and a growth mindset **COMPENSATION PACKAGE**
- A yearly gross salary ranging between 30.000 and 33.000
- Private health care coverage
