Università di Torino invites applications for a research project in Biological Sciences to characterize bacteria from the lettuce root system (Lactuca sativa), determining taxonomic identity, functional traits, and plant growth-promoting properties.

The work includes in vitro and in vivo experiments and Next Generation Sequencing analyses to quantify bacterial presence and assess potential applications for sustainable agriculture.
