h3Role Conditions /h3ulliContract Length: Ongoing – long term /liliHours: Full-time /liliTravel Expenses: Travel at the start and end of contract provided /liliAccommodation: Not provided /liliTransport: Own transport required for movement around the base /liliPPE: Provided /li /ulh3About the Role /h3pJMC Aviation is recruiting experienced Woodworkers to support an ongoing aerospace project in Italy. /ppThis is an excellent opportunity for skilled woodworkers with experience in cutting, joining and assembling wooden panels and structures, particularly those with experience producing protective wooden packaging or shipping crates for large and heavy components. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliCutting and preparing timber and wooden panels to required specifications. /liliJoining and assembling wooden panels and structures. /liliBuilding robust wooden shipping boxes and crates for the safe transportation of large and heavy aircraft components. /liliEnsuring packaging provides adequate protection during handling and transportation. /liliWorking accurately to drawings, dimensions and technical instructions. /liliUsing appropriate woodworking techniques and hand tools. /liliMaintaining a high standard of workmanship and quality. /liliMaintaining strong FOD awareness and a clean, safe working environment. /liliFollowing all applicable site, safety and security procedures. /li /ulpMachinery and tools will be provided by the customer. /ph3Candidate Requirements /h3ulliProven experience as a Woodworker, Carpenter, Joiner or similar. /liliStrong experience cutting, joining and assembling wooden structures. /liliExperience building wooden crates, boxes, shipping cases or protective packaging. /liliAbility to work accurately to measurements, drawings and technical instructions. /liliGood understanding of workplace safety and quality standards.
