Technical Assistant - Motors & MechanicsTechnical Assistant - Motors & Mechanics - ItalyRole ConditionsContract Length: Ongoing - long termHours: Full-timeTravel Expenses: Travel at the start and end of contract providedAccommodation: Not providedTransport: Own transport required for movement around the basePPE: ProvidedAbout the RoleJMC Aviation is recruiting experienced Technical Assistants - Motors & Mechanics to support an ongoing aerospace project in Italy.The successful candidates will have experience working with metalworking machines, workshop tools, maintenance systems and motor/mechanical components.Machinery and tools will be provided by the customer.Key ResponsibilitiesWorking with metalworking machines and workshop tools.Supporting mechanical and maintenance activities.Working with motor and mechanical components.Following technical instructions, drawings and customer procedures.Ensuring work is completed to the required quality standards.Maintaining a clean and FOD-free working environment.Following all applicable site, safety and security procedures.Reporting any defects, issues or discrepancies as required.Candidate RequirementsProven experience in a technical, mechanical,
maintenance or workshop environment.Familiarity with metalworking machines and workshop tools.Familiarity with maintenance systems and motor/mechanical parts.Ability to follow technical instructions and procedures.Good understanding of workplace safety and quality standards.Willingness to complete and maintain mandatory aerospace/site training, including:FODHFSMSMAL/NAMEWISFTSMMOEMANMANMust meet applicable aerospace/customer qualification requirements.Must comply with applicable Italian safety requirements, including D.Lgs ******* and DPCM 6 Nov **** n.5.Own transport required for movement around the base.Right to work in the EU.Previous experience within an aerospace, aviation, manufacturing or industrial environment.Experience in mechanical maintenance or production.Experience working to technical documentation and quality procedures.Previous experience working on an aircraft production or MRO site.Why Work with JMC Aviation?
