Who we are looking for
We are currently looking for an
Intern in the Category Management Area for a period of 6 months
, based in
Padua HQ
.
The person in this role will be involved in the innovative project of collections efficiency management, taking part in the implementation of a merchandising project based on digital tools able to innovate the product lifecycle management approach.
The role is strongly integrated both with the Brand Management and Data& Analytics teams.
The internship will be focused on the following activities:
The person in his role will support Category Manager:
Analyzing product performances on a portfolio level, highlighting assortment overlaps or white spaces and opportunities
providing researches on relevant competitors in key markets to guide BM choices both in terms of fashion trend and prices.

working on the collection size analytics to get recommendations for BM in term of new styles to be developed per season and styles to be phased out.
monitoring efficiency KPIs on a monthly basis
collaborating with BM in seasonal definition of core assortment of each brand
using the new forecasting model to support business evolution through the most appropriate collections offer
developing primary analysis on collection productivity deepening on markets and channels to identify the main factors contributing to the general results
working in synergy with CM counterparts among Safilo branches to support the implementation of the new merchandising project at a country level
overseeing the product data quality and helping the process relative to data cleaning
You are the person we are looking for if:
You are graduating (or already have a degree) in management engineering or economics
You are fluent in English
You have excellent analytical and mathematical skills
You are a precise and accurate person
