Key duties of the role include:Power and lighting electrical systems, earthing, lightning etc. designLife safety and security systems designICT systems designCoordinate assigned projects locally, and with other Jacobs OfficesKnowledge in local and international technical codesKnowledge of main electrical software (Etap, SKM, Neplan, etc.)Perform studies and execution of project design activitiesAccountability on electrical project schedule, progress reports and cost estimates and change management processSupervise juniors & intermediate electrical engineers and designersInterface with design group to monitor and control project schedule, electrical hours and electrical cost for their area of responsibilityEnsure consistency and integrity of electrical design throughout project and review design for logic and functionalityPerform design of plant distribution system including protection schemeDevelop detailed electrical specifications for the projectDefine and develop the work share scope of work and execute effectively the work as per project requirementsPerform pre?commissioning and start?up activities for electrical systemsHere's what you'll needDegree in Electrical EngineeringMinimum of 10 years of experience in the specifications, engineering, design, construction and start?up with EPC/EPCM consulting firmsExperience in Pharmaceutical, Industrial and Buildings business would be an assetExperience in high, medium and low voltage design and equipment would be an assetResponsibilities as a Lead Engineer on medium sized projects or Area Lead on large sized projects with technical support and leadershipPromote workshare execution with other Jacobs OfficesKnowledge in local and international technical codesKnowledge of main electrical software (Etap, SKM, Neplan, etc.)Availability for business tripsWe know that if we are inclusive, we're more connected, and if we are diverse, we're more creative.

The offer range for this position is 54,****** to 67,****** gross per year (or hourly equivalent if hired into hourly role).
The final salary within this range will be determined based on objective, gender neutral and job?related criteria, such as relevant professional experience, skills, qualifications, the scope of responsibilities and the contracted working hours/work schedule.We value collaboration and believe that in?person interactions are crucial for both our culture and client delivery.
