You work across the development lifecycle, solving technical challenges and guiding Proof-of-Concepts, while building lasting partnerships. You collaborate with internal experts to connect customer questions with the right teams and train field engineers and customers in your area of expertise. Responsabilità
- Act as a trusted technical partner for global key customers across development lifecycles
- Support customers at early phases, milestone moments, and escalations to meet development goals
- Hands-on debugging with customers remotely and on-site to resolve issues and validate concepts
- Demonstrate technical superiority of Infineon’s automotive microcontrollers in real use cases
- Leverage embedded systems expertise to articulate solution benefits to customers
- Build and maintain quick access to internal experts (Application Engineering, R&D;, product, systems)
- Clarify ambiguous technical situations by structuring findings and driving next steps with stakeholders
- Share knowledge within the distributed Application Engineering team and foster a collaborative culture
- Train and enable Field Application Engineers and customers in your technical domain
Requisiti fondamentali
- 3+ years of experience in automotive Tier 1 or OEM environments
- Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Software Engineering, or similar
- Strong hands-on embedded software development in C (application and low-level)
- Solid expertise in low-level debugging (boot, startup, multicore, peripherals, performance)
- Experience with Infineon AURIX microcontrollers or RISC-V is a strong plus
- Willingness to travel internationally on short notice (5–10 trips/year)
- Fluency in English
- Confident communicator who builds relationships with customers and stakeholders
