POSITION SUMMARYThe Hotel Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that the hotel's facilities, equipment, and infrastructure are maintained in safe, efficient, and excellent working condition. This role performs preventive maintenance, responds to repair requests, and supports the overall guest experience by ensuring that all hotel areas meet quality and safety standards. Working closely with other departments, the Maintenance Technician helps maintain a comfortable and welcoming environment for guests and associates.Se pensa di essere il profilo ideale per la seguente occasione, si candidi dopo aver letto la descrizione completa.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of hotel facilities and equipment.Respond promptly to maintenance requests and repair issues.Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems.Maintain guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to company standards.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.Support renovation projects and emergency repairs when required.Qualifications & SkillsTechnical diploma or certification in maintenance, engineering, or a related field preferred.Previous experience in hotel maintenance or a similar technical role.Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC,
and mechanical systems.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication and organizational skills.Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays when required.Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift equipment for extended periods.Ability to perform manual and physical tasks safely.Availability to respond to urgent maintenance situations when necessary.At Marriott International, we are dedicated to being an equal opportunity employer, welcoming all and providing access to opportunity.
