h3Safety Officer, Workplace Health Safety /h3 pJob ID: | Souq.com for E-Commerce LLC - G32 /p h3Key job responsibilities /h3 ul liConduct daily safety inspections and workplace risk assessments across operational areas. /li liIdentify hazards, recommend corrective actions, and follow up to ensure timely closure. /li liInvestigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and support root cause analysis. /li liMonitor compliance with HSE procedures, company standards, and applicable legal requirements. /li liSupport the implementation of safety programs, initiatives, and continuous improvement actions. /li liDeliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions for employees and contractors. /li liMonitor PPE compliance and ensure appropriate PPE is available and correctly used. /li liSupport emergency preparedness, evacuation drills, fire safety, and emergency response activities. /li liConduct contractor safety monitoring and ensure compliance with site safety requirements. /li liMaintain accurate HSE records, inspection reports, risk assessments, and incident documentation. /li liWork closely with Operations and site leadership to address safety concerns and improve safety performance. /li liPromote a proactive safety culture and encourage employee engagement in hazard reporting and safe behaviors.



/li /ul h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul li1+ years of customer service or back-office roles in corporate environments experience /li liSpeak, write, and read fluently in English /li liExperience with professional documentation using the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience in warehouse operations and logistics or equivalent /li liExperience working in large teams or at a national/multinational organization, or experience working in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment /li liExperience in high-volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments /li li* NEBOSH IGC certification is preferred. /li /ul pOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
