We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Design Responsible – Body & Closures to provide high quality support to our customers.
- Define and manage engineering specifications for Body & Closures systems and components.
- Ensure project targets are achieved in terms of performance, quality, cost, weight, timing, and investment.
- Coordinate product development activities from concept through industrialization and service support.
- Assess design feasibility and ensure compliance with functional, safety, manufacturing, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead design reviews and support technical decision‑making throughout the development process.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams and suppliers to resolve technical issues and ensure project progress.
- Support validation activities through simulations, tolerance analysis, testing, and design verification.
- Provide engineering support during proto builds,
vehicle launch, and production phases.
- Drive continuous improvement, cost optimization, benchmarking, and technology scouting activities.
Your skills that will help us to get ahead:
- Master's Degree in Mechanical, Vehicle, Automotive Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive product development, preferably within Body Structures and Closures Systems.
- Knowledge of component development from concept to production launch.
- Expertise in CAD and PLM tools (CATIA V5/V6, NX, Teamcenter, ENOVIA, VIS-Mockup).
- Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, GD&T;, and tolerance analysis.
- Technical leadership, problem‑solving mindset, and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to operate effectively within international and cross‑functional teams.
- Fluent in Italian and English.
