In the role of Financial Application Analyst for Belmond, you will be a key reference point for the optimization and support of our financial ERP, ensuring efficiency, data integrity, and technological alignment with our growth ambitions. Primary Responsibilities
- Analyzing, configuring, and supporting existing financial systems, ensuring their correct functioning and efficiency
- Participating in the implementation of new functionalities and modules within financial systems, from requirements gathering to go‑live
- Collaborating with Finance, Purchasing and IT departments to align business processes with system capabilities, identifying opportunities for improvement and automation
- Performing data validation and ensuring the accuracy and consistency of financial information within the systems
- Developing and optimizing financial reports and dashboards to support business decisions
- Providing training and technical support to end‑users on financial systems and procedures
- Managing relationships with financial software vendors for system assistance and updates
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Management Engineering, or a related field
- 2–5 years of prior experience in a financial systems analysis role or similar position
- In‑depth knowledge of financial processes (general ledger, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting)
- Proven ability to work with finance‑focused ERP systems, including Workday
- Excellent analytical skills and a strong aptitude for problem‑solving
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and large‑dataset analysis)
