Overview
In this role you join the Cybersecurity team within R&D; controls to safeguard healthcare software and devices. You’ll analyze software and hardware for vulnerabilities, support secure designs, and drive remediation through collaboration with product teams. Your work helps maintain safety and integrity of critical healthcare technology at STERIS. The role offers the chance to shape security practices and contribute to regulatory-ready product security programs.

Responsabilità
- Receive and analyze CVEs from open-source sources and assess their applicability to STERIS products; coordinate with product teams for impact assessments
- Develop and track software bill of materials (SBOM) and monitor vulnerabilities; work with product teams to remediate
- Identify software security vulnerabilities and support remediation planning with product teams
- Assist and support product security risk assessments, requirements analysis, and test methods
- Evaluate and execute product security testing including test planning, cases, and procedures
- Perform vulnerability assessments and network scanning activities
- Conduct internal fuzz testing to identify product vulnerabilities
- Reproduce penetration testing findings to aid remediation and communicate security issues to product teams
- Implement security controls/methods to software embedded in products and other applications
- Research new security testing techniques to improve device security
- Participate in cybersecurity improvement projects and regulatory deliverables for FDA 510(k) submissions
- Respond to customer cybersecurity questionnaires and create/update FAQs, white papers, knowledge articles
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, software engineering, or cybersecurity
- At least 3 years of direct cybersecurity experience including risk assessments and security testing
- At least 1 year of vulnerability assessment and software development lifecycle experience
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C++, C/C#, Java
- Experience analyzing penetration test results and recommending corrective actions
- English at level B2 minimum
- Team player with cross-team collaboration
