We know that people thrive when they can be themselves, are trusted and supported, and are given the opportunity to grow and make a meaningful contribution. /p pAre you ready to unlock your full potential? /p h3Job Purpose /h3 pStudy, development and analytical investigation of the chemical synthetic processes and small scale manufacturing of Rare Disease APIs’ (Fixed-term position). /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 pActivities to be carried out in the synthesis and analytical laboratories under the supervision of the RD Responsible: /p ul liHe/she has to perform chemical reactions, purification of intermediates and final products, in order to study and develop new processes. /li liHe/she has to be able to assemble laboratory equipment (e.g. reactors, thermocryostat, distillation apparatus, solvent evaporation equipment etc). /li liHe/she has to draft the lab notebook in order to document the experimental activities. /li liUnder the supervision of a Senior Researcher, he/she has to perform by own the calculation of the needed amounts of reagents and reactants. /li liHe/she has to handle the small scale production of Rare Disease APIs’ in the GMP Lab plant,
for which he/she will get the appropriate training. /li liHe/she has to deal with the draft of the production batch records. /li liTogether with the Senior Researcher, he/she takes part into the study and development of the best reaction conditions and the arrangement of the experimental trials plan. /li liHe/she has to manage analytical instrumentation as LC-MS, GC-MS, NMR in order to perform analytical investigation of the outcome of the chemical process, by even developing new analytical methods, and to interpret the results by own and to share with the supervisor the potential next actions to solve issues. /li liHe/she is involved in following the whole outcome of the project both in terms of synthesis and analytical data. /li /ul h3Required Education /h3 ul liDegree in Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry /li liPhD in Organic Chemistry is welcome /li /ul h3Required Skills and Experience /h3 ul liSound knowledge of organic chemistry /li liSound knowledge of the laboratory technologies /li liGood knowledge of the principles of the main analytical techniques for investigation /li liSound knowledge of physical chemistry principles /li liProficiency in all Microsoft Office applications /li liStrong analytical and problem-solving skills /li liStrong inclination to team working /li /ul h3Required Languages /h3 ul liGood proficiency in English /li /ul pAt Recordati we believe in people!
