In this role you will oversee the finance function for Specialtrasfo, partnering with the local business leader to optimize financial performance. You will drive planning, forecasting, variance analysis, and cross-department collaboration to support strategic objectives. You will ensure accounting integrity, risk management, and compliance, while advancing digital finance capabilities. This position sits within ABB’s Motion High Power Solutions and offers impact through cost optimization and robust financial controls.

Responsabilità Own financial planning for the organization: budgets, rolling forecasts, and execution oversight
Perform variance analysis and drive improvement initiatives to support strategic objectives
Coordinate accounting to ensure standards compliance and timely reporting; manage annual audit
Strengthen internal control, compliance, risk management, and tax processes




Lead digital transformation of finance and develop a multi-dimensional data platform
Support integration planning and management system establishment
Optimize cost control and drive efficiency to improve margins
Define and implement global standards and guidelines for financial control
Provide cross-functional coordination and timely communication with internal stakeholders
Ensure transparent financial reporting and disclosures
Requisiti fondamentali 8+ years in finance or controlling
Sound knowledge of business and project controlling, financial analysis, strategic planning, and integration
Proficiency in Local and US GAAP; familiarity with tax regulations and global sales-related processes (risk management, contract management, credit control)
Strong collaboration and leadership experience; capable of influencing teams
Solid knowledge of SAP, SAP BW; advanced MS Excel
Fluent in Italian and English
