The Deputy Production Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing industrial operations related to the production of electronic equipment.

A practical and flexible approach is required, with direct involvement in processes and strong collaboration with the technical, commercial and administrative areas.

Responsabilities

- Production Management
- Plan and coordinate production activities (assembly of mechanical and electronic sub-assemblies, testing and shipping)
- Ensure compliance with production plans, Bills of Materials (BOMs) and work cycles
- Support production planning based on sales forecasts

- Optimize and maximize production on the lines, managing any operational issues and non-conformities and resolving problems quickly and effectively

- Analyze and improve production processes

Supply Chain and Materials

- Coordinate the purchasing function to ensure the availability of electronic and mechanical components and semi-finished products, manage critical suppliers and mitigate shortage risks
- Optimize warehouse and work-in-progress management
- Monitor and optimize the impact of lead times on production
- Collaborate with R&D; to mitigate material obsolescence risks

Quality, Regulations and Certifications

- Coordinate with the Quality Manager to ensure compliance with quality,



safety and industry standards
- Support the management of internal and external audits
- Reduce defect rates and customer complaints

Required Skills

- Electronics or Electrical Engineering education (a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, preferably in Management Engineering, Electronics or Industrial Engineering, is a plus)
- At least 5 years of experience, preferably in companies manufacturing electronic equipment
- Knowledge of electronic manufacturing processes (PCB, assembly, testing)
- Ability to read technical documentation
- Experience in supplier and supply chain management, including international suppliers
- Knowledge of ERP systems (Mago or similar)
- Operational attitude and flexibility typical of SMEs
- Operational leadership and coordination skills
- Results-oriented mindset and focus on continuous improvement
- Ability to make quick decisions in a production environment
- Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration
- Good command of English

What we offer

- Full-time permanent employment contract under the Metalworking Industry National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL Industria Metalmeccanica)
- Gross annual salary (RAL) range between €35,000 and €55,000, depending on experience
