NTU Internationalis preparing a proposal for the project"Support to the Africa-EU Space Partnership Programme – AESPP Boost."
The programme aims to strengthen cooperation betweenAfrica and the European Union in the space sector, supporting policy dialogue, institutional partnerships, knowledge exchange, innovation, private sector engagement and investment, while contributing to stronger and more sustainable African space ecosystems.
In this context, we are seeking a highly qualifiedNon-Key Expert – Gender Equality & Social Inclusion Specialistto support the systematic integration of gender equality and social inclusion considerations across programme activities, ensuring inclusive participation, gender-responsive implementation and equitable access to opportunities generated through Africa-EU space cooperation.
Minimum Qualifications and SkillsUniversity degree atMaster's levelingender studies, social sciences, development studies, or a related field.
Excellent command ofEnglish.
Working knowledge ofFrench and/or Portuguesewill be considered an asset.
Minimum General Professional ExperienceMinimum8 years of professional experienceingender equality, social inclusion and/or inclusive development in international cooperation.
Minimum Specific Professional ExperienceAt least4 years of professional experience designing and applying gender-responsive approaches in donor-funded programmes, including gender analysis, sex-disaggregated indicators, inclusive stakeholder participation, training and/or gender-responsive communication.
xysqume Familiarity with EU external-action gender policy and experience in Africa are assets.
