About this vacancy
The resource will be responsible for:
Development, programming, and modification of automation systems PLC/DCS
Programming Siemens PLC, using TIA Portal and/or STEP 7
Programming using key languages of IEC *******, particularly Ladder Logic (LAD), Function Block Diagram (FBD), and Structured Text (ST/SCL)
Configuration and diagnostics of industrial control and automation systems
Development and integration of HMI/SCADA interfaces
Configuration and management of primary industrial communication networks and protocols
Reading and interpreting electrical and automation schematics
Support in activities related to electrical panels and automation panels
Functional testing, debugging, and hardware/software troubleshooting
Performing FAT and SAT activities
Commissioning, startup, and testing of machines, production lines, and systems at the client's site
Analyzing and resolving issues during installation and start-up phases
Optimization of control logics and system performance
Interfacing with electrical, mechanical, software teams, and the final client
What we expect from you
The requirements:
Degree in Automation Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related technical-scientific disciplines
The candidate must ensure availability to travel intermittently within Italy and abroad (at least 50% of working time)
Experience in programming and configuring PLC and/or DCS systems
Knowledge of Siemens PLC, preferably S****** / S******
Good knowledge of TIA Portal
Familiarity with Ladder (LAD), Function Block Diagram (FBD), and Structured Text / SCL programming languages
Knowledge of DCS architectures and distributed control systems
Experience in commissioning and start-up of machinery or industrial plants
Good ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
Knowledge of electrical panels and automation panels, their main components, and their architecture
Basic knowledge of CAD tools for consulting and making simple modifications to technical documentation
Familiarity with key industrial communication protocols and networks
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Good knowledge of the English language
Operational autonomy and a readiness for direct customer interaction
Willingness to undertake national and international travel for at least 50% of the year, including extended periods
What you can expect from us
The position entails a permanent contract and the base gross annual salary (RAL) offered will not be less than €32,000,
in line with the provisions of the National Collective Bargaining Agreement for Commerce - Tertiary, Distribution, and Services.
TMC is committed to offering a competitive remuneration package and, at the conclusion of the selection process while evaluating the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, may propose a final RAL above the level indicated above.
In accordance with our business model, the final remuneration package also includes a component of direct participation in project profits (profit sharing), an individual growth budget of €4,000 net per year, and an annual welfare credit. Further details will be provided during the selection stage, in compliance with current company policies.
