Description
We are looking for a passionate and experienced
PYP Teacher
to join our international school community from late december/january ****.
The successful candidate will be committed to the
IB philosophy
and to creating an engaging, inclusive and inquiry-driven learning environment where students are encouraged to be curious, confident and active participants in their learning.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based learning aligned with the IB PYP framework
Create an inclusive, student-centred classroom environment
Assess student progress and provide timely and meaningful feedback
Differentiate learning to meet diverse student needs
Promote the IB Learner Profile and Approaches to Learning
Communicate effectively with students, parents and colleagues
Collaborate in unit planning, curriculum development and transdisciplinary projects
Contribute actively to team meetings and professional development
Serve as a Homeroom Teacher
Support supervision duties, cover lessons and school activities as required
Contribute to a positive, collaborative and supportive school culture
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree and recognised teaching qualification
Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in an international school
IB PYP experience or training preferred
Strong understanding of inquiry-based and student-centred learning
Excellent English proficiency
Strong communication, collaboration and organisational skills
Ability to support diverse learning needs
Commitment to student wellbeing and safeguarding
