h3Position Summary /h3 pWe are looking for a Service Engineer to join our Technical Service Team. The Service Engineer performs required preventive and corrective maintenance on the STERIS/Cantel product lines and field troubleshooting primarily in his/her service area in the country. /p pPlease note: /p ul liA valid driver’s license is required. /li liThe role will cover customer service activities in the Umbria region, with the flexibility to travel and provide support in neighboring regions as required by business needs. /li /ul h3Duties /h3 ol liPerform preventive and corrective maintenance required on STERIS/Cantel product lines, related product lines, and competitive equipment. This includes: disassembling, replacing, or repairing defective parts; rewiring or reassembling as required; troubleshooting, adjusting/calibrating, and certifying equipment ready for use by using standard and specialized tools and test equipment (i.e., schematics, diagrams, technical manuals, etc.). /li liPerform administrative duties as assigned including computer synchronization daily, complete service reports, maintaining tools and parts inventory to prescribed levels as required by Team Leaders and Service Manager. Uses the Corporate applications (Siebel, Oracle, Sales Connection, others) to handle his daily activity. /li liDevelop and maintain effective, communicative relationships with customers, managers, support functions and the sales organization. /li liMaintains a courteous and professional demeanor when working with customers, contractors, management, and fellow employees. Utilize customer protocols when entering and exiting facilities and abide by all STERIS and Customer Health Safety protocols and procedures.
/li liProvide solutions to customers to enhance sales and growth in the field through effective positioning of STERIS/Cantel products and services, identifying opportunities, and passing leads to management and sales. /li liOther duties as assigned by the Service Manager /li /ol h3Required experience competencies /h3 ul liMinimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial environment, preferably in the medical sector or other regulated industries, with general knowledge of washing equipment and sterilization processes. /li liStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, combined with a well‑organized and structured approach to maintenance activities. /li liGood level of computer literacy and solid technical background, with effective written and verbal communication skills. /li liSufficient technical English proficiency to understand manuals, technical documentation, and interact with international suppliers. /li liCompletion of a recognized technical training program in mechanical, electrical, or electronic fields. /li /ul h3Education Degree /h3 pHigh School Diploma or GED /p h3Additional Info /h3 ul liPosition requires lifting (up to 25 kgs), bending, sitting, standing, and twisting. /li liMust travel extensively to customer sites. /li liOvernight travel required. /li liFlexible scheduling may be required to accommodate customer needs. /li liMust be able to commute within the designated territory. /li liDomestic travel required: 85% /li /ul h3Compensation /h3 pIn line with our commitment to transparency and equal pay, we provide the following information: /p ul liSalary Range: 29.000€ - 38.000€. /li liNCBA: Chimica, Concia e Settori Accorpati, CONFAPI. /li liIncentive Plan eligibility: This position is elegible for incentive plan. /li liCar eligibility: elegible for company car. /li /ul pSTERIS strives to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
