The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow and develop in a company committed to developing talent and rewarding performance. /p h3Regional Electrical Engineering Manager – Italy /h3 pMilan | Data Centre Projects | Kirby Group Engineering /p pKirby Group Engineering is looking for a Regional Electrical Engineering Manager to lead the electrical engineering function across its data centre projects in Italy. /p pThis is a senior regional appointment for someone who knows that good engineering leadership is about rather more than reviewing drawings and attending meetings. You’ll set the technical standard, lead the engineering teams and make sure complex electrical packages can actually be built, commissioned and handed over as intended. /p h3Who are Kirby Group Engineering? /h3 pKirby Group Engineering is an international engineering and construction specialist delivering large-scale, technically complex projects across Europe. /p pThe business has built a strong reputation in sectors where getting the engineering right really matters,

For someone joining in Milan, this is an opportunity to take a senior role in an established European engineering business while helping shape its delivery capability in Italy. /p h3The Role /h3 pBased in Milan, you’ll take regional responsibility for electrical engineering across data centre projects in Italy. /p pYou’ll provide leadership from design development through construction and commissioning, working closely with project teams, clients, consultants, subcontractors and other engineering disciplines. /p pIn practical terms, you’ll be responsible for making sure the electrical engineering is coordinated, buildable, compliant and delivered to the standard expected on major data centre programmes. /p h3What You’ll Be Doing /h3 ul liLead the electrical engineering function across Kirby Group Engineering’s Italian data centre projects. /li liManage, develop and mentor electrical engineering teams. /li liProvide technical leadership on complex electrical and mission-critical systems. /li liOversee design reviews, technical submissions and engineering deliverables. /li liChallenge designs constructively, identifying technical, coordination and buildability issues before they become expensive site problems. /li liWork closely with mechanical, CSA, BIM, commercial, planning, construction and commissioning teams. /li liManage technical interfaces with clients, consultants, vendors and subcontractors. /liliEnsure designs comply with project specifications, relevant standards and regulatory requirements. /li liDrive engineering consistency and best practice across multiple projects. /li liSupport procurement and equipment selection from a technical perspective.
/li liProvide engineering input throughout installation, testing, commissioning and handover. /li liHelp develop the engineering capability required to support continued growth in Italy. /li /ul h3What We’re Looking For /h3 pYou’ll need strong electrical engineering credentials, but this is ultimately a leadership job. /p pYou’re likely to have: /p ul liSignificant electrical engineering experience on major construction or mission-critical projects. /li liStrong data centre experience, ideally involving hyperscale or similarly complex facilities. /li liExperience leading electrical engineering teams on large projects or across multiple projects. /li liA strong understanding of MV/LV distribution, emergency power, UPS, generators, protection systems and associated data centre electrical infrastructure. /li liExperience managing design, construction and commissioning interfaces. /li liThe confidence to deal directly with senior client representatives, consultants and project leadership. /li liStrong commercial and programme awareness alongside your technical expertise. /li liAn electrical engineering degree or comparable technical qualification. /li liThe ability to lead people, make decisions and maintain standards when projects become busy.
