The role:
The person is responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the Legal entity's general ledger,
ensuring timely and accurate month-end closings, compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP), and supporting internal and external audits. This role acts as a key link between accounting operations and financial reporting.
What will you do:
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
- Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with accounting policies.
- Oversee fixed assets accounting and depreciation schedules.
- Support consolidation processes if part of a group structure.
- Collaborate with FP&A;, Treasury, Tax, and other finance functions
Requirements:
- Background: 5/6 years of accounting experience, with solid exposure to GL and month-end activities.
- Professional Skills: Knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP.
- Language Skills: Proficient English & Italian.
- IT Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems and
