You will be involved in R&D; projects within the WAVENURE team as a Junior Data Scientist, with the aim of conceiving, developing, managing and maintaining Artificial Intelligence forecasting models in the context of investment decisions on financial markets.

Responsibility

You will be part of the team that deals with the design, development and optimization of machine learning models aimed at supporting the decisions of investors operating on financial markets.

Training and Technical Skills required

- Master's degree in STEM subjects.
- Work experience, even short, in financial markets or data science.
- Academic and/or working knowledge of statistical models for modeling and data analysis.
- Strong propensity/interest in new technologies and financial markets.
- Knowledge of one or more programming languages (Python, Matlab, R),



including packages used in Machine Learning.
- Fluency in English.
- Familiarity with mathematical modeling.
- Proficiency in object oriented programming.
- Knowledge of financial markets.

Personal characteristics

The ideal candidate has communication skills, can work autonomously and proactively and has an aptitude for teamwork and problem solving.Attitude and motivation are key factors.

They are considered a strong plus:

- Familiarity with using database query language and APIs.
- Knowledge of trading and major platforms.
- Knowledge of the Crypto world.
- Work experience in quantitative finance / financial modeling.
