LightScene Studio is looking for a Intermediate Lighting Designer to join our dynamic studio in Milan.
We are looking for a highly motivated and creative intermediate lighting designer to join our in-house design team in the design sector and work on exciting retail, high-end residential, artistic and hospitality projects in Italy and around the world.
The intermediate lighting designer we are looking for should possess not only technical skills but also a highly creative mindset, innovative solutions, refined aesthetic sense and strong teamwork ability, along with effective collaboration and communication skills to interact with designers, clients, and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Interpret the client brief and collaborate with senior lighting designers and architects to create and develop creative lighting concepts that complement and enhance the design and user experience
- Produce mainly detailed drawings, lighting calculations and lighting reports
- Specify high-quality products and equipment in line with the aesthetics and objectives of the project




- Independently explore innovative materials and techniques that enhance future designs

Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Lighting Design, Product/Industrial Design/Interior Architecture/Spatial Design or equivalent
- At least one years of professional experience
- Proven experience in lighting design within high-end projects
- Good knowledge of material properties and solutions
- Ability to think from small to large scales in space
- Good knowledge of Dialux and main 3D softwares (Rhino, Grasshopper Sketch-Up)
- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD
- Interpersonal and presentation skills, capable of meeting high industry standards
- Professional level of English
- Eligibility to work in Italy without sponsorship
