The business is known for strong engineering standards, well resourced project teams and delivering technically demanding data centre projects to programme. /p h3The Role: Mechanical Construction Manager /h3 pAs Mechanical Construction Manager, you will take responsibility for the day to day delivery of mechanical works on a major data centre project in the Milan region. /p pYou will manage mechanical subcontractors, coordinate HVAC, piping and associated building services, and work closely with Project Managers, planners, design teams and the commercial team to ensure mechanical packages are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards. /p h3Must Have Requirements /h3 ul liMust have 8+ years’ experience within mechanical construction, including site management responsibility /li liProven experience required managing HVAC, piping and associated mechanical services on large scale construction projects /li liStrong mechanical subcontractor management and programme delivery experience required /li liMechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering qualification or relevant industry background required /li /ul h3Preferred Experience /h3 ul liData centre,
mission critical or large industrial project experience preferred /li liStrong understanding of mechanical commissioning and handover /li liEuropean construction project experience beneficial /li /ul h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liManage all mechanical construction activities on site /li liCoordinate mechanical subcontractors, manpower, sequencing and progress /li liDrive mechanical works against programme and key project milestones /li liReview drawings, specifications and technical submittals /liliMaintain QA/QC standards throughout mechanical installations /li liCoordinate with electrical, CSA, design and commissioning teams /li liLead mechanical planning, progress and coordination meetings /li liTrack variations and liaise with the commercial team on costs /li liManage snagging, close out and mechanical handover /li liMaintain high Health Safety standards across all works /li /ul h3About You /h3 pYou will be an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager with a strong background delivering major mechanical packages and managing subcontractors on large scale construction projects. /p pYou should have strong technical knowledge of HVAC, piping, mechanical installations and commissioning, with the ability to identify coordination issues early and keep works moving to programme.
