Horton Housing Association are currently recruiting for 2 Tempo pieno Permanent Housing Support Workers to join our established service based in Central Bradford. The annual salary for this role is £27,588.00. You will work 35 hours per week, across Monday to Friday, and you will be entitled to 6 weeks paid annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as access to our Employee Assistance Programme.As a Housing Support Worker you will work with the people we support, helping them to achieve their individual goals. You will work in partnership with them to devise a tailored support plan and support them in becoming tenancy ready. This may include helping them to access welfare and supporting them to attend any appointments. You will also be responsible for the welfare of the people we support, undertaking welfare checks and following safeguarding policies.EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Be empathetic and caring, showing understanding and respect to people experiencing difficult circumstancesHave excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to recognise the people we support as experts in their own livesBe resilient and adaptable with the ability to think on your feet and make sound decisions in line with our proceduresBe observant, with the ability to identify risk and follow safeguarding policiesA full UK driving licence and use of a car for work purposesExperience of housing management including health and safety, repairs and maintenance,
