Definition, execution,
and interpretation of Finite Element Analyses of radar payload structures using Finite Element analyses (static, dynamic, buckling, fatigue as applicable) to support design decisions and qualification activities
Support environmental qualification campaigns (vibration, shock) with test specifications and post-test correlation
Interface with other engineering fields (among which integration, electronics, thermal) to best include all the SAR antenna requirements at early stages
Communicate the activities results with clear and concise presentations, reports and qualification documentation
Proven experience with Finite Element Analyses for structural designs (e.g. Femap with Nastran, Ansys, Abaqus, or equivalent)
Ability to build, validate, and correlate FEM models with test results
Experience supporting vibration test campaigns
Knowledge of metallic structures and basic understanding of composite materials
