MANAGER ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS
The Commodity Manager is responsible for defining and developing the procurement strategy for a group of commodities.
In this role, you will be accountable for managing the commercial relationships with suppliers and collaborating with internal stakeholders,
with the objective of minimizing the total cost of ownership and maximizing the quality and the reliability of the supply chain.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
This role focuses on Tier 2 electronic components (subcomponents mounted on PCBAs), requiring a deep understanding of component-level technologies and supply markets.
With a primary focus on electronic components (e.g., semiconductors, microcontrollers, relays, transformers, displays), you will:
Develop and execute sourcing strategies for Tier 2 electronic components based on market dynamics and technology trends
Build strong relationships with component manufacturers and distributors to secure supply continuity and access to innovation
Negotiate agreements balancing cost, quality, and long-term availability
Monitor electronic component market trends (e.g., lead times, allocation risks, obsolescence) and proactively adapt sourcing strategies
Collaborate with R&D; and engineering to influence component selection and design choices
