Leica Microsystems seeks an experienced commercial leader to design and deploy a global training and competency development framework across all regions. The role combines strategic program development with hands-on execution, partnering with regional and business unit leaders to strengthen sales capabilities and ensure consistent commercial excellence.
Responsibilities
Develop and lead global commercial training strategy with consistent, scalable learning frameworks and onboarding programs across all regions
Build and govern a global sales competency framework defining required capabilities, assessing proficiency, and identifying development gaps
Partner with Regional Commercial Leaders, Business Units, and DBS teams to align priorities and drive accountability for capability development
Establish training governance and operational excellence through standardized processes, content management, and Train-the-Trainer networks

Measure training impact and continuously improve capabilities by tracking effectiveness and providing actionable insights to leadership
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Training & Development, Commercial Management, or equivalent experience
7+ years in Sales, Commercial Excellence, Sales Enablement, or Training roles
Demonstrated ability to build and manage global programs and projects
Excellent facilitation, communication, and influencing skills
Strong proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and LLM-based tools such as M365 Copilot or ChatGPT
Ability to travel 20% of the time
Experience with Learning Management Systems such as Cornerstone or Workday Learning (preferred)
Compensation:
€85,000-€131,000 base annual salary plus 20% target premio subject to performance conditions
