/p pFom Industrie is looking for a Field Service Technician to join the Service Department.
/p pThe successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out technical interventions at customer sites, contributing to the diagnosis and resolution of faults and restoring machines to full functionality.
/p pThe role involves close collaboration with the Service Manager / Field Service Manager, the Service team and the internal technical support team, ensuring effective interventions and maintaining high standards of service quality and customer satisfaction.
/p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liCarry out installation, technical support, maintenance and troubleshooting activities at customer sites.
/li liDiagnose faults and identify the causes of malfunctions.
/li liRestore the correct operation of machines through mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and software interventions, within the scope of their expertise.
/li liProvide technical support to customers throughout all stages of the intervention.
/li liCheck the correct operation of the machine upon completion of the activities, ensuring compliance with company quality standards.
/li liEscalate more complex issues to the Service Manager or internal technical support team.
/li liDocument the interventions carried out by preparing complete and accurate service reports.




/li liUpdate company systems with information regarding the interventions performed, hours worked and expenses incurred.
/li liCollaborate with the Hotline team, Technical Department and other company functions to ensure service continuity and the sharing of technical information.
/li liRepresent FOM Industrie at customer sites, contributing to maintaining high levels of professionalism and service quality.
/li /ul h3Requirements /h3 pThe position is open to candidates who meet the following requirements: /p ul liTechnical diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics or equivalent field.
/li liAt least 3-5 years of experience in field technical support, maintenance or technical service roles, preferably in the automatic machinery sector.
/li liGood knowledge of mechanics, electromechanics and pneumatics.
/li liAbility to read technical drawings and technical documentation.
/li liExcellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
/li liWillingness to travel frequently both nationally and internationally.
/li liGood IT skills.
/li liExcellent interpersonal and customer-oriented skills.
/li /ul h3The following qualifications will be considered a plus: /h3 ul liExperience in the installation and commissioning of automatic machinery.
/li liKnowledge of English; knowledge of a second foreign language is considered a plus.
/li liBasic knowledge of PLCs and industrial automation systems.
