Leica Biosystems seeks a Third Party Commodity Manager to manage third-party supplier relationships and ensure a complete diagnostic portfolio across Europe. The role involves supplier qualification, contract management, and serving as a key interface between sales, regulatory, and internal functions.
Responsibilities
Identify third-party solutions to address portfolio gaps and customer needs across Europe
Manage end-to-end supplier lifecycle including qualification, onboarding, contracting, and performance monitoring
Ensure third-party products meet certification, compliance, pricing, and documentation requirements
Act as interface between sales, tender, application specialists, and internal functions to develop sourcing strategies
Maintain centralized third-party product catalogue with full traceability of contracts and documentation




Requirements
Professional procurement certification such as MCIPS or equivalent
Minimum 5 years strategic sourcing or procurement experience in regulated industries
Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks for medical device and IVD supplier contracting
Demonstrated success in supplier negotiation and contract management
Experience with supplier qualification and onboarding per quality management systems
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; ability to travel up to 30% in Europe and UK
Compensation:
€55,000–€63,000 gross annual salary plus 10% premio/incentive pay
