Overview
As Key Account Manager, you will drive aficamten adoption in Emilia Romagna and Marche, working with cardiology teams, pharmacists and administrators to support an Italian launch.
You will execute territory plans aligned with country strategy, manage access and formulary processes, and monitor market dynamics.
You'll collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely patient access and data-driven decisions, making a measurable impact on oHCM care.
This is a high-ownership role in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture.

Responsabilità
Create targets, sales and action plans aligned with country strategy
Manage customer contacts via meetings, virtual calls, congresses with treating physicians and multidisciplinary teams
Drive brand awareness and product adoption for aficamten with key product messages and clinical data discussions
Achieve agreed sales and volume targets for aficamten
Utilize CRM to support the sales process and maintain timely data
Implement Cytokinetics commercial strategy within budget
Conduct territory analyses to understand customers, competitors and market trends
Develop and maintain territory mapping of key accounts and stakeholders to guide planning
Understand oHCM patient journey to identify barriers and opportunities for timely care
Manage hospital access,
liaising with committees and procurement to include aficamten in formularies
Monitor regional funding and access barriers; tailor action plans
Prepare quarterly business reviews for the territory
Develop and coordinate structured account plans with cross-functional alignment
Ensure compliance with all regulations and Cytokinetics SOPs and local Code of Conduct
Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Marketing and Market Access to share insights and report Adverse Events/PRODUCT Complaints
Carry out related tasks and projects with national/international implications
Requisiti fondamentali
Science-related degree in Healthcare/Life Sciences (or equivalent)
5+ years in biotech/pharma sales
At least one product launch experience in specialty care (regional/hospital market access)
Deep understanding of local market access and procurement processes
Proven sales success in specialty pharma and/or rare diseases; experience in secondary care and launches
In-depth knowledge of the Italian healthcare system (hospital and office settings)
Fluency in Italian
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
Entrepreneurial spirit
Strong interpersonal, diplomacy and stakeholder engagement
Analytical mindset and sound business judgment
Autonomy, self-motivation and urgency in fast-paced environments
CRM systems proficiency
Advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
