Responsibilities Own Renesas solution marketing strategy for motor drives in EMEA, covering industrial drives & servo, building automation, HVAC, appliances, power tools, drones and 2-wheelers market segments. Act as an industry-expert by providing vision, guidance & expertise to Renesas' sales & FAE community, customers and distribution network. Analyse market drivers & business potential, customer challenges & competition's positioning; identify white spaces and new business opportunities.
Define solutions roadmap, value proposition, collaterals (kits, reference designs, documentation, tutorials) and go-to-market in collaboration with HW and SW product groups; act as the voice of EMEA market inside Renesas. Proactively promote solutions to customers and distribution network, in collaboration with Renesas' sales & FAE organisation and channel marketing team. Acquire new customers, identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities, contribute to increase funnel generation & conversion.

Locations This position can be filled also in: Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or in similar field 7 years or more experience in business development, technical marketing, technical sales, field application engineering or product management in the semiconductor, power electronics or motor drive industry.
Solid working knowledge of motor drive systems: BLDC/PMSM/ACIM/Syn RM, FOC and sensorless control, inverter topologies, gate driving, current/position sensing, MCUs and real-time control, power switches (Si/Si C/Ga N), EMC and thermal considerations, functional safety (IEC 61800-5-2/STO, ISO 13849, IEC 61508) and relevant standards.
